The Kazakh Federation of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Public Association was registered on April 2, 2018, has nine branches and includes eleven local accredited federations.

KFAGG joined the International Federation of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (IFAGG, headquartered in Helsinki, Finland) on April 24, 2018 and is an A-member, as confirmed by the IFAGG certificate.

KFAGG is officially accredited by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan as a republican federation on January 30, 2020, certificate No. 092.

The discipline of aesthetic group gymnastics was added to the Register of Sports by Decree No. 61 of the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan that was issued on February 24, 2020.

Aesthetic group gymnastics was included in Decree No. 56 “Rules and Regulations for Awarding Sports Titles, Grades and Qualification Categories” which was issued on October 28, 2014.
